Vicki Miskolczy - Viola

Victoria Miskolczy is Associate Principal Violist of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (since 1989), and a regular member of the Pasadena Symphony. She has also performed with the Oregon Bach Festival, Mostly Mozart Festival and in the Hollywood Bowl, Sydney, Pacific and Long Beach Orchestras. An active chamber musician, Ms. Miskolczy has appeared with the South Bay Chamber Music Society, Camerata Pacifica, LACO’s Musicales, UCLA’s Bruman Series and is a frequent performer on the Sundays at Four (now Sundays at Six) chamber music series, broadcast live on radio station KMZT from the LACMA. She has also presented solo recitals throughout her native Australia and has made several solo appearances in both Canada and the U.S. In addition to doing orchestral, chamber and solo work, Ms. Miskolczy has performed on numerous motion picture sound track scores by composers such as John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner, and on recordings with such popular artists as Barbra Streisand, Madonna, and Michael Jackson.

Ms. Miskolczy studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, the University of Michigan, the Menuhin Academy in Gstaad, Banff Music Festival and the University of Southern California. Her teachers have included Alex Todicescu, Donald McInnes, Karen Tuttle and Raphael Hillyer.
